| Stray Cat | Hi all, I explained to Steve that my Weekender is a Gen 1 and that the male piece that inserts into the hitch receiver is hollow. That means that this Weekender is not stable on the back, it wobbles like crazy. I have a U-Bolt I need to find that came with it and is supposed to lock it down. Problem is it is very weak and you actually crush it by tightening it enough to stabilize the Weekender. If I remember correctly, Bob later put a solid piece on these with threads to allow you to completely tighten it down. Also, I have a used Waterfall tote that has snaps at the top. Were there snaps that had to be installed on this version? I remember my old one had hooks I believe that wrapped around and hooked into the cardboard back on top of the Waterfall. Also is missing a clip I believe would allow you to attach it..... where? Anyone know these issues? Thanks, John

Actually mine has threaded bolt thru it You could get correct size nut and bolt to bolt it on Get a coupler nut, cut to fit snug inside tube and bolt it in place & get welded inside the tube then remove bolt and install on car using bolt will make it tight Mine is a pain because it has to be threaded all the way through but since it stays on car not a big deal |

| Stray Cat | Thank you! I'll check it out, that 1/2 inch hole is correct ? I'll check. This would be a great fix if it works. This is what I have but it is very thin and weak. | tbonelynch | This is how I keep mine from wobbling and I leveled it to match the car. A couple of stainless turnbuckles and stainless eyebolts.

| mslc10 | In the past I have drilled a hole in the hitch receiver then threaded the hole to accept a bolt to use as a ‘snubber’ that when tightened it pushes the ‘hitch’ and keeps it from rattling. |
